Immersive Team Building for LA Equity Camp

Partner: LA Education Partnership  

Project:

  • Designed two team-building experiences—a scavenger hunt on equity and leadership, and a future school challenge set in the year 2100.

How I Applied My Design Lenses:

  • Game Design: Balanced delight, challenge, and collaboration in each experience.  

  • Theater: Created a futuristic atmosphere and role-played as an educational leader from 2100.  

  • Education & Research: Incorporated prompts addressing meaningful pressing challenges.

Emcee & Designer for LEGO Playful Learning Museum Conference  

Partner: The LEGO Group  

Project: Curated and emceed a three-day conference on learning through play, providing feedback on sessions led by museum staff.

How I Applied My Design Lenses:

  • Game Design: Used play-based learning principles to inform feedback on session content.

  • Theater: Managed pacing and improvised as emcee to adapt to the event’s needs.   

  • Education & Research: : Ensured effective communication between staff, designers, and researchers.

Partner: The Dandelion Project

Project: design and facilitate dynamic, learner-centered experiences, including weekly immersive experiences using the city as a classroom for learning. I also lead our development strategy, ensuring the financial sustainability of our programs.

Project: Created an interactive exhibit on AI’s impact on education and led a workshop where participants designed a futuristic school on Mars.
